Multimedia design and development may include material that is 'animated' on a website, material for a CDRom, screensavers, games and generally anything that incorporates moving visuals in cartoon or video format, sound or advanced user interaction.

This may follow the web design stage, may be a separate project to enhance an existing website, or a collaboration with other industry professionals to complete a larger development project.
